Insect protection
Mosquitoes can spread diseases such as dengue fever, Zika and chikungunya. If you have mosquitoes in your area - always use mosquito stick/spray on exposed skin! Long-sleeved shirts and long trousers further reduce the risk of mosquito bites. When spending the night in the countryside or jungle, you should also use an impregnated mosquito net for protection.

Children who have not had or who have not been vaccinated against measles, mumps or rubella should be vaccinated against these diseases.

Always contact a vaccination clinic well in advance for individual recommendations!
